Adding Customers

Manual Addition 1. Go to Customers → Add Customer 2. Fill in the form: - Full Name — Subscriber's name - Username — Used for PPPoE/Hotspot login - Password — Authentication password - Phone — Contact number - Email — For self-service portal access - Connection Type — PPPoE or Hotspot - Plan — Select a bandwidth/pricing plan - Billing Period — Daily, Weekly, Monthly 3. Click Save The system will: - Create the customer record - Provision the MikroTik with appropriate queues - Send welcome email/SMS (if configured) - Activate the subscription Bulk Import For adding multiple customers at once: 1. Go to Customers → Import 2. Download the CSV template 3. Fill in customer details 4. Upload the completed CSV 5. Review and confirm By the end of this, you would have had your customers either imported or created in your PulseISP Billing Systems

Subscription Plans

Plans define the bandwidth limits and pricing for your subscribers. Creating a Plan 1. Go to Plans → Create Plan 2. Configure: - Plan Name — e.g., "Starter", "Business", "Premium" - Bandwidth Profile — Select or create speed limits - Price — Set your pricing - Billing Period — Daily, Weekly, Monthly - Data Cap — Optional data limit (GB) 3. Save Bandwidth Profiles Bandwidth profiles define speed limits: | Profile | Download | Upload | Use Case | | ----------- | ------------ | ---------- | ---------------- | | Basic | 5 Mbps | 2 Mbps | Light browsing | | Standard | 10 Mbps | 5 Mbps | Home users | | Premium | 15 Mbps | 10 Mbps | Heavy users | | Business | 20 Mbps | 25 Mbps | Business clients | Plan Management - Edit — Change pricing or bandwidth anytime - Archive — Hide plan from new signups (existing subscribers keep their plan) - Delete — Remove unused plans Auto-Expiry When a subscription expires: 1. The system automatically marks the customer as inactive 2. On next RADIUS auth attempt, the request is rejected 3. The customer is redirected to the payment portal 4. On renewal, service is restored immediately

Voucher System

Generate prepaid voucher codes for hotspot access. Ideal for temporary users, events, or pay-as-you-go services. Generating Vouchers 1. Go to Vouchers → Generate 2. Configure: - Data Limit — e.g., 500MB, 1GB, 5GB, Unlimited - Time Limit — e.g., 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days - Bandwidth Profile — Speed limits for voucher users - Quantity — Number of codes to generate (1-1000) - Price — Optional (for paid vouchers) 3. Click Generate Voucher Types | Type | Description | | ---------------- | --------------------------------- | | Data-limited | Fixed data allowance (e.g., 1GB) | | Time-limited | Fixed duration (e.g., 24 hours) | | Unlimited | No limits (use with caution) | | Paid | Generated with a price for resale | Using Vouchers 1. User connects to hotspot WiFi 2. Portal prompts for voucher code 3. User enters the code 4. System validates and activates session 5. User gets internet access per voucher limits Management - View — See all generated vouchers and their status - Revoke — Deactivate a specific voucher - Export — Download voucher codes as CSV or PDF - Print — Print physical voucher cards

Customer Self-Service Portal

Each subscriber gets a dedicated self-service portal where they can manage their account, view usage, and make payments. Access Customers access their portal at: https://{isp-subdomain}.pulseisp.com/portal Or via a direct link provided in their welcome email/SMS. Features Dashboard - Current plan details - Subscription status and expiry date - Data usage (upload/download) - Session history Payments - View outstanding balance - Make payments via Paystack or Flutterwave - View payment history - Download receipts Profile - Update personal information - Change password - View login history White-Labeling The portal can be customized with your ISP branding: - Logo — Upload your company logo - Colors — Match your brand colors - Domain — Use your own domain (CNAME required) - Support Info — Display your contact details Notifications Customers receive: - Welcome Email — On account creation - Payment Confirmation — After successful payment - Expiry Reminder — Before subscription expires - Suspension Notice — When service is suspended

Auto-Expiry & Suspension

PulseISP automatically manages subscription lifecycles — from activation to expiry to suspension. How It Works Subscription Lifecycle Active ──► Expired ──► Suspended ──► Renewed ──► Active │ │ └── Manual Renewal └── Payment Made Expiry Check We check everytime for expired subscriptions: 1. Finds all customers who are expired 2. Block their access 3. You see expired on your dashboard Suspension When an expired customer tries to authenticate: 1. System checks subscription status 2. Finds subscription is expired 3. We block their access 4. You do nothing Reactivation When payment is made: 1. Payment is received via system 2. System updates the subscription 3. New expiry date is calculated 4. Customer status becomes active 5. Customer new connection works Manual Control From the dashboard, you can: - Suspend — Immediately block a subscriber - Activate — Restore service - Extend — Manually add days to subscription - Kick — Force disconnect active session Notifications Configure email/SMS reminders before expiry: - 3 days before — "Your subscription expires soon" - 1 day before — "Renew now to avoid interruption" - Day of expiry — "Your service has been suspended"
